Crash
was the most popular and most successful Speccy magazine. The
articles were written by Speccy enthusiasts. This gave true
reviews of games and hardware. So much so that the software
industry would decide what was put on the shelves, based on
what Crash said about a game. At it`s most popular, Crash was
selling over 100,000 copies a month. Crash contained a long
running cartoon which was considered by most to be the funniest
around.It was based on the Ultimate character Lunar Jetman.
Unfortunatly Crashed decline happened alongside the decline
of the 8-bit market. In 1992 Crash was merged with Sinclair
User, only one more issue was released.
